The Sound of Smell (work in progress)

For the needs of this project I  developed a series of new aromas and let them analized using Chromatography techniques .The GC(gas chromatography) graphics of the essential oils that were produced at the laboratory of Avans Hogeschool in den Bosch were used as music scores to make music. The performance took place at art initiative Extrapool (Nijmegen/NL) during Cellulose Congres #5. Accompanied by double bass player Alessio Bruno and pianist Yiannis Karygiannis, we translated the series of GC graphics into sounds.

This project was made possible with the help of lecturer Paula Contreras Carballada and studens of Avans Hogeschool: Levi Pater, Nienke Janssen, E. Ispirlioglu, Robin Thielman.
