"KLEIS"

"KLEIS" is a performance based on a long research on the rape culture in the Greek society.

The performance is commenting on patriarchal structures of family and societal orders which maintain the culture of rape. Furthermore it is raising awareness on the impact of sexual crimes and the role of society in it.  

The performance is in Greek.

This work could not be possible without the help of Mondriaan Fonds, great sound effects from Marios Tsiknis and amazing friend Periklis Dementis who shot this performance. Unfortunately, Periklis is no longer among us but he will remain a part of this unforgettable journey.
